Drone X Pro Drone Review

The newest model from Autel Robotics is the Drone X Pro Drone, it is a folding Drone that is similar in appearance to the Mavic Pro 2, and I honestly believe that this Drone right here may have the Mavic Pro beat for its top spot.

The Drone X Pro Drone has a remarkable battery life of up to 30 minutes, starting with a full charge, which is decent because many of the drones I have dealt with only offer a battery life of around 10 minutes before it has to return for a change of battery. Even the charging time for the battery to be recharged fully is around an hour, which is another useful thing designed to keep you going.

The Drone X Pro Drone can reach speeds of up to 65 feet per second, while the Drone itself is capable of ranging as far away as 4.2 miles while remaining in the range from the receiver-transmitter.

As you would expect from a drone, it could be taken with you every time you travel away; it's designed to go with you everywhere you go, so it needs to be robust and all-around tough as a travel drone should be.

The Drone has some pretty useful flight modes, including GPS and object tracking. It also offers the ability to be able to preset waypoint mission coordinates and flight patterns that are designed for 3D mapping tasks.

I understand that 4K is much more available these days and much more affordable, which is expected, but it can capture a higher-resolution of video at 60 frames per second, which isn't as common. The Camera has been mounted on a three-axis gimbal, which means

You will be able to obtain steadier shots. The Camera utilized computer vision so that the Drone can avoid obstacles. The infrared sensor that is built onto it adds even more 3-way infra-red obstacle avoidance technology.

As already mentioned, the Drone X Pro Drone offers a total of 30 minutes worth of flight time on one charge. However, as usual, if you wish to have even more flight time, you should always buy additional batteries when you buy the Evo Drone.

When it comes to operating the Drone, you can either use the Smartphone plus the Autel Explorer App, which is available on Android and iOS. If you don't want to use the app, you can use the controller supplied with the kit. The controller has a good size 3.3 inch OLED screen. The screen uses a 720p resolution to show the drone's viewpoint.

Conclusion

If you take everything into account, the Drone X Pro Foldable Drone is very close to being a rival for the Mavic Pro 2; it offers a truly good looking and compact option, especially in the typical Autel standard colors of orange and black. Even reviewing the specs, in comparison, the Mavic Pro has similar specs, but looking at the 4K Camera, for instance, the frame rate is faster, and the battery life is a little bit longer. At the time of writing this Drone X Pro review, the Drone X Pro Drone can be bought for less than $1,000, and that includes one battery and charger, a couple of memory cards, and the usual spare props.

So, if you're looking for a drone and you want the 4k Camera with its 3-way gimbal, you can now include the Evo Drone in your shortlist.

Now that it has been around for a few months, it is possible to look at the feedback that this Drone has received in the various forums, etc. One reviewer stated, "I have owned several other brands of Drones, this is the best by far. It performs way beyond my expectations,
the amount of technology you get for the money is amazing," which just about sums it all up. You can buy using the links below; you will be taken to my recommended online retailer Amazon.com, and you'll also benefit from the protection of the largest online retailer should you need it.
